Vivek Srivastav is a technologist with 22 years of experience in the software engineering.
Vivek has worked in several starup companies and has domain expertise in cloud technologies,
cyber security, financial regulation and telecommunication industry.
During his tenuer at ReBIT as SVP of Reserarch and Innovation he made several contributions in
various cyber security committees at RBI, MFA and PFRDA. He played a key role in conceptualizing and drafting of the AA technical standards in India.
Vivek, was a key member of RBI’s High Level Task Force setup to study formulation of a digital public
registry to capture and store financial information of borrowers in India. He was also a part of the FinTech Regulatory
Sandbox and cyber security working group at PFRDA. His team led several efforts to strengthen the cyber
resiliency of the banking and financial sector. An avid technologist, he has 8 patents in the area of
video systems and cloud security.
He has been volunteering in Sewa International since 2014 and currently serves in the capacity as
Atlanta Chapter Coordinator. He has been sponsoring a free medical clinic since Oct, 2016 in
Prayagraj India in Uttar Pradesh. During his college life at St Stephen’s Delhi, he used to
read books for blinds, participated in adult literacy, organized blood donation camps and taught
underprivileged kids.
He has an MBA degree from the Robinson College of Business, an MS in Biotechnology degree from IIT, Mumbai
and Graduate degree in Chemistry from St. Stephens’ College, Delhi.
